The Look: Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection + Halloween

Fun Fact: Carole has a magnificent wood collection and I was so ecstatic to wear her rare scarecrow pins! The heads and arms move back and forth and they have cute googly eyes! She told us that her wood collection was manufactured in the 1930's at the same time as Bakelite and that she treats them as objects of Art. Also, I think that amazing lucite ring looks like a giant eyeball!
PS. After nine weeks, this is the first day without my cast on after breaking my foot in 2 places on the dancefloor in August! YAhoooo!!! Victory!

Are you going trick or treating?!
I spent the morning watching Halloween 1st and 2nd.  So later I'll figure out whether to
be a big fat pumpkin or a crazy killer. Got many photos of LAmania, just that Chicmuse's getting a camera cable cause she forgot hers!

Caillianne- Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection + Halloween Day 1

We are sooo in love with Carole Tanenbaum's vintage jewelry collection that when she asked us to do a Halloween post, we were so excited! We saw all of her spooky Halloween-ish jewels like: cats, orange and black Bakelite, crystals, eyeball rings, scarecrows, spiders, aliens, cobwebs, black gems, orange bangles....the list goes on and on. Halloween is our most favourite holiday of all time! Every Halloween, we are the girls who dress up all bloody, disgusting and insane! But for the next two days before that happens, we wanted to do outfit posts celebrating the spirit of Halloween and Carole's stunning jewels!

Carole has over 21,000 pieces in her vintage collection and we go gaga everytime we see new pieces in there! We had so much fun putting on all of the Halloween inspired pins and bracelets and felt like the Queen's of Halloween today!!! Check out her amazing online shop for some unbelievable finds! Click here! Time to go eat some candy!

The Look: Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection + Halloween

Fun Fact: I'm wearing four pins on my knitwear jacket to make it look like one big sparkly pin. Carole told us one of her favourite things to do is group pins closely together in clusters for extra drama.... it's really brilliant styling! Also, how funny are my candy corn socks?! When else am I supposed to wear them? Hahaha!

D.I.Y. Chanel Bag Dog Costume!

We made a D.I.Y (do it yourself) Chanel bag doggy costume! It's the perfect Halloween costume for your fashion pup! And it's going to be auctioned off at the Paws For the Cause event this Thursday night in Toronto. This event is going to be outta control woofin' cute! Paws For the Cause asked us to make a dog sweater and to walk in the runway show with our dog wearing our custom creation which supports the OSPCA (Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.) It is a really great cause! and 100% of the proceeds goes directly to the animals in need. We are total animal lovers, so this was something we just had to do! We thought it would be fun if we made a D.I.Y video which shows us making the dog costume step by step and it also includes our two favourite accessories, Cubby and a Chanel bag all rolled into one! But we wanted to make it look like Cubby and the Chanel bag were one entity! What would Karl think? Haha! He is a walking and barking Chanel bag! Hahah!
To buy tickets or donate for this Thursday October 28th night's event at 8pm at Red Bull 381 Projects located at 381 Queen St. W # 200 click here! We hope to see you there!

P.S Can everyone please vote for Cubby (to win a car) it sounds silly but he knows how to drive! CLICK HERE! Thanks a million!!!!
