The 'Bruce' perspex clutch from Charlotte Olympia was in my sights for a while (seen back here). The lovely boy surprised me and had it delivered when he was away. Yes, I am a lucky, lucky, LUCKY girl.

A short skirt and a long jumper is an equation that always makes sense to me. There are more pictures of me wearing this skirt styled a little differently here.

The boy is finally home and he brought my engagement ring back with him :) It's such an old piece of jewellery that we were having trouble with a diamond that kept falling out. He took it back to London with him to have the designer repair it and now it's finally back on my finger where it belongs.  It's often joined by at least 3 other rings. I'm a ring magpie.

I have nothing but good things to say about Storets.com. Seriously, everything I get from them I love. This skirt makes all my leather skirt dreams come true!

I went to the hairdressers today and was supposed to cut some bangs (a fringe for my fellow English people) but I chickened out at the last minute and just had some layers added. I've decided not to let my fear get the better of me and I'm going back tomorrow and getting myself some bangs.... I think. Eeeek!

Bright Cold

I love this faux leather trimmed skirt so much that even when they didn't have it my size I took it anyway. I bought it 4 sizes too big and took it to a tailor. 

The boy and I have began to think about our wedding. It's a tough process because I'm not really a wedding girl.... You know how some girls grow up knowing what their dress will look like and which flowers they want? I'm the opposite. If I wasn't so scared of my mum I would elope.  When I mentioned to her that I was thinking about doing that she stared at me long and hard and said "that's not very nice" and then gave me a side eye. Let the planning begin! (Oh God.)

I have no words to describe these shoes. They are AH-MAZING. They make me so freaking tall and I love that! The platform makes them walkable but to be honest I couldn't care less about walking- these are shoes are to be worshipped. Get a pair while you still can because I reckon these will sell out.  I've worn this jumper non stop since I got it, it's so cosy! I actually wish I got it in an even bigger size for added slouch appeal.

I've taken my hair extensions out. I had to wear them nearly everyday since August for 'Bedlam' and I got sick of them. They're having a much deserved break.

P.S Yes, that is my engagement ring ;)

Hell For Leather

As you can probably tell from this post and the last one, I am obsessed with leather at the moment! 

Leather can look trashy so I try to keep the rest of the outfit quite soft. I also think that some leather items can take you in the wrong direction.... For example: Tight leather hot pants. To me, these say "hooker" but leather shorts say "hello I'm a rock star".  Leather trousers: Yes please. Leather catsuit: No thank you. Its a very fine line!

I want a leather skater skirt next. If any of you see a good one, let me know :)

The boy snapped these pictures before we went out on our date night... We went for a yummy dinner at Automat on Dover St in London where I learnt the lesson that apple pie and ice cream does not go well with tight leather trousers. I literally could not breath at the end of the meal!

I bought this coat way back in August and I've been dying for it to be cold enough for me to actually wear it. If any of you fancy getting one for yourselves I recommend buying it in a size down. I ended up getting mine in a UK6 from the petite range so the sleeves are super short. I love a good bracelet sleeve. 

The boy bought me the Wang clutch from New York. He picked it all by himself. He's stylish AND a good photographer. This blog would be nothing without him :)

Do you remember in 'Friends' when Joey had "eating" pants? Well this is my "eating" dress. I wear it when I know I'm gonna eat a hearty meal and thus get a food baby belly :) I wore it to lunch with the boy today. We went to Jerk City in Soho, it's our favorite lunch place and whenever we go we both eat a little too much. I adore Caribbean food! Mmmmmmmmmmm.
