Maximum

Maxi skirt: Bec & Bridge courtesy of Christing C. Vest Top: American Apparel.
Shoes & Clutch: TopShop. Watch: Michael Kors.

Christing C is an awesome fashion blogger (check out 'Fashion Hedonism" here) and now she's opened her own online boutique. It's based in Hong Kong but is a completely international site.

If any of you are considering getting these shoes I urge you to do so. They are comfortable with a capital C.

I had way too many pictures to choose from so I've added the extra shots to My Facebook page :)

Night School

Skirt: PINE. Jumper: Courtesy of Storets.com.
Shirt: American Apparel. Loafers: Miu Miu.
Clutch: TopShop. Hat: ASOS

I'm having trouble wanting to wear any other shoes at the moment. These have all my favorite qualities: Black. Patent. Studs. It also helps that compared to my usual 5 inch heels these are like slippers!

Gladiator

Dress: American Apparel. Gladiator sandals: River Island. Bag Alexander Wang.

This dress is great in hot and sticky weather. I bought it in New York last summer where it is hot and sticky beyond belief during the summer months. The low cut arm holes mean you get a lot of much needed ventilation. I love the slouchy silhouette and drapey material. It's the perfect vacation dress- you can roll it up in a bag and it will never crease.

I loooooooooved being in Mallorca! My only complaint is that it was over too soon. I could have easily spent the entire summer on the island just reading and eating chorizo but we had to return. I start shooting a film tomorrow. It's such a cool project. One of the writers was my cast mate in my first ever acting job. He's also acting in this film and it will be awesome to be working together again all these years later.

I always get really excited about the first day on new film.... it feels like the first day of school. I even pack my bag the night before ;)

Kandee GIVE AWAY!!!!

Shirt: American Apparel. Skirt: PINE. Boots: courtesy of Kandee.
Socks American Apparel. Bag: Chanel.

I woke up feeling a million times better today :) I got sent these boots by Kandee and immediately wanted to wear them. They're called 'The Milky Bar Boot'. Cute, right!? They have a kittenish lolita vibe which I love. Kandee is an extremely cute shoe line based around yummy sweets and candy. The shoes have names like 'lemon sherbet pump' and 'dolly mix wedge'.  The idea is just too cute for words.... which is why I've used the word 'cute' a thousands times already so far in this blog! You can see Kandee here. This line will be huge! It's already been featured in InStyle....

Those lovely people at Kandee not only sent a pair for me they also sent a pair for one of YOU!

Dippa Stick ankle boot.

I tried these on today and they look amazing with jeans, the yellow heel is a great pop of colour. I was of course tempted to keep these beauties for myself but I love you all too much <3

Pretty Painful

Trousers and dress (worn as top): American Apparel. Shoes: Brian Atwood.
Bag: Chanel. Apollo Ring: Lara Bohinc.
*Nail Polish:Mint Candy Apple by Essie

I feel like I am being blasphemous by saying this but THESE SHOES HURT! I love them- God knows I do but they are not comfy. They are dinner shoes. They're soooooooo pretty though!

I don't use this bag as much as I should. It often gets left in storage- Poor thing. I've got it out and hung it where I can see it so it's getting a few more outings.

I wont be posting much this week (if at all). I'm in recovery and don't feel much like taking pictures. I'll be back with full force next week! :)

Keep Clear

Dress: American Apparel. Clogs: Jeffery Campbell. Socks: Virgin airlines :)

I love the pockets in this dress, they give it a slouchy relaxed feel. The socks are those free ones that you get on Virgin flights. I love them! I collect them every time I fly with Virgin.

It's been a while since I've had the boy take my picture and it's great to have his photography skills back. His pictures make my timer shots look like a joke!

Lots of you ask about my hair... You all want the loose curly waves and I promise you they are super easy to get! I've thought about doing a hair video for you all but I realized despite being an actress the thought of talking to camera as myself freaks me out way too much! I've found a video that shows exactly what I do: LOOSE CURLY WAVES.  The only difference is that I use a slightly smaller straightening iron.

*Take a one inch section of hair and comb it through until smooth.
*Clamp your straightening iron at the root of the section of hair and with your free hand hold on to the ends of the hair.
*Rotate the iron 180 degrees and glide it down the length of the hair until you reach the ends.
*The slower you move the iron the tighter the curl will be.
*Try to alternate the direction that you rotate the iron with each section so that you get a more irregular look.
*When you've curled all of your hair run your fingers through to loosen and break up the curls.

I like my hair to look a little messy and tousled so I usually prefer it the next day after I've slept on it!

p.s I use clip in hair extensions. They only work because my own hair is long enough to blend in. My own hair finishes at breast level so the extensions don't look so obvious. If your hair is shorter then neck length then really long extensions like mine wont work! xxx
