Florally Unfit

Dress: Vaudeville & Burlesque. Jacket: TopShop.
Bag: Courtesy of Nicole Miller. Boots: ASOS.

For those of you back in England you'll be seeing this dress on TV very soon. It's part of Molly's wardrobe from 'Bedlam'. I wasn't convinced about it at first because I'm not really a "pretty dress" kind of girl but my leather jacket toughens it up nicely. Molly wears it with patent Mary Janes and a Princess coat... She's much nicer then I am ;)

I am in love with this bag! The bike chain strap, the mustard yellow lining, the satchel vibe, the leather.... I love it all.

P.S Where has all the LA sunshine gone?!

Zest

Jeans, Shirt & Leather Jacket: TopShop.
Shoes: Miu Miu. Bag: Alexander Wang.
Lipstick: MAC 'Lady Danger'.

Approximations of this outfit have become almost my 'audition' uniform whilst here in LA. I love the reliability of a silk shirt, they're a true cornerstone in my closet. I loved the shape of this one so much that I bought it in two colours. See the grey one here.

I hit the vintage market on Fairfax and Melrose this weekend. If any of you plan to be in LA soon, it's well worth a visit. I got another pair of the denim cut offs that I love so much. $10!!! Don't get me started on how much these cost in Urban Outfitters in the UK! See my old pair here, here & here. The new ones will be up as soon as it's warm enough to wear them again.... It's actually been cold here this week. Yuck.

Mini Leopard

Boots & Leather Jacket: TopShop. Skirt: Courtesy of storets.com.
Shirt: Courtesy of Club Couture. Bag: Mulberry mini leopard Alexa. Beret: Vintage

Ooooooooh I cannot even begin to tell you the drama I had getting my hands on this bag. It was a birthday gift from the boy and his lovely family (thank you Goldbergs!) and was ordered in advance of my birthday from Net-a-Porter. First there was a delay getting the bag delivered, then when it eventually arrived I wasn't sure I even liked the bag anymore and spent a week comparing and contrasting it with every other 'Alexa' in the world, then when I finally decided to stop being crazy and admit my love for the bag.... IT BROKE. I wore her for one hour to Sainsbury's and the postman's lock broke. I do not even have the words to express my anger. The following few days were spent on the phone to Net-a-Porter's customer care team (hello Jane!) who arranged to have the broken bag collected and then sent me out a new one. So now here she finally is: My patent mini leopard Mulberry 'Alexa'. And let me tell you something, after all that drama- I love her.

The white shirt I'm wearing comes from Club Couture. I am of the belief that you can never have too many shirts. This one has sparkly buttons so it's completely different from the 6 other white silky shirts in my wardrobe. At least that's what I tell myself ;)

Props to storets.com for this gorgeous skirt.... Makes me feel like a ballerina and since it's black that must mean I'm a black swan ballerina. Yes I am!

p.s Have you noticed Oscar peaking at me from the corner of some of these shots? He gets so excited when me and the boy go outside to take the blog pictures. I'm trying to make a gif of him ambushing me during this shoot.

p.p.s This outfit was only made possible by the two pairs of Uniqlo heat tech leggings and my M&S thermal vest worn under it. God bless thermal!

Bleak

Dress & Leather Jacket: TopShop. Leopard Boots: ASOS.

Brrrrrrrrrrr! It's getting so cold! Expect to see lots of coat outfit posts from now on.

For those that have been asking: This is my hair in all it's natural glory (eh hem). If I wear it like this I wash it and use loads of conditioner. I use She Uemura's hair oil and then I blast it with the hair dryer.

A busy two weeks coming up. I'll be shooting the last episode of Bedlam and it will be pretty full on. Blog posts may be few and far between... but I'll keep you all up to date with my purchases and fashion musings on twitter :)

P.S A few of you have asked about the leopard boots.... I bought them a couple of weeks ago from ASOS but they seem to have sold out now. If I hear of any more being added to the site I'll let you all know... x

The Tourist

Being away from London makes me appreciate it so much more when I actually get the chance to be there. I live in Camden but I hardly ever spend any time there. Tolga and I decided to make a tourist day of it, we had brunch, ate doughnuts and walked around the markets.
This is actually a restaurant! You eat your food whilst sitting on a scooter.
Lucky cat :)
My favorite part of the day! I found it very hard to choose because there are so many doughnut combinations.... In the end I opted for the classic custard and it was yummy.
This is what you call working a LOOK.
Dress: ASOS. Loafers & Jacket: TopShop. Bag: Chanel.

Right on Time

Blouse & Trousers: American Apparel. Leather Jacket & Boots: TopShop. Ring: Lara Bohinc.

My first ever 'timer' shoot! These were the only half decent ones in the entire shoot but practice makes perfect!

I'm missing the boy so much... and not just because I have to take my own pictures! I've been filling my time with movies, script reading, yoga and trashy novels. Trashy novels are my guilty pleasure. Right now I'm reading "Hollywood Kids" by Jackie Collins. Pure trash and I love it!!!!

P.S No weave! I'm putting myself through withdrawal before I become too addicted.

Nowhere to stop on Mulholland Drive

Dress: LF. Jacket: TopShop, studded by moi. Boots: TopShop.
Denim shorts: TopShop. Purse: Chanel

I snagged this dress in the LF sale. It's totally see through but I don't let that stop me- denim shorts with some lace layering and I'm good to go! Me and the boy wanted to take pictures up on Mulholland Drive but as the title suggests there wasn't anywhere to stop. Every place we found had other cars parked there and I felt like it was too spooky! We took these on Sunset Blvd instead....  although now I'm looking at them we could have been anywhere!

Sooooo tired this week. I don't think my brain can hold any more lines! I've decided the best way to sum up pilot season is that it's like going to work all day but without getting paid. Still.... I'm glad to be doing it :)
