The 'Bruce' perspex clutch from Charlotte Olympia was in my sights for a while (seen back here). The lovely boy surprised me and had it delivered when he was away. Yes, I am a lucky, lucky, LUCKY girl.

A short skirt and a long jumper is an equation that always makes sense to me. There are more pictures of me wearing this skirt styled a little differently here.

The boy is finally home and he brought my engagement ring back with him :) It's such an old piece of jewellery that we were having trouble with a diamond that kept falling out. He took it back to London with him to have the designer repair it and now it's finally back on my finger where it belongs.  It's often joined by at least 3 other rings. I'm a ring magpie.

I love the detail on this shirt. Really simple with just a touch of 'edge'. I have to give credit to the boy because he was the one who spotted it whilst we were shopping at The Grove.

I'm back! I've spent the last couple of weeks moving to Los Angeles and getting started on my new TV show 'Revenge' for abc. Lots happening right now!

Hair

I've had quite a few emails regarding my hair recently....

I had my colour done back in March at a salon here in LA called Nine Zero One. The highlights are brushed on and concentrated on the ends and mid lengths of my hair. 

I had my layers cut just before I left London at Rush as they had offered me a complimentary service. The lovely Edra took care of me and I could not have been happier with the cut. I told her I was after long layers and she listened and gave me exactly what I asked for. 

I sometimes use clip in extensions for added length and volume. I'm wearing them in the pictures above. This set are from Head Kandy and I had them highlighted to match my own hair. 

I'm still using Shu Uemura hair oil to keep my hair looking glossy and the ends moist.

I'm a big fan of day time sequins. So much more fun then sequins at night! 

The boots I'm wearing are these beauties from TopShop. Double zipped loveliness- I was powerless to resist. I'm always trying to get my hands on the Acne Pistol boots (always sold out!) and these ones actually seem to fit me better. They've already sold out online but I spied a couple of pairs in the Oxford Circus branch.

Loving this skirt and top from Anarchy Street. I can see this outfit being a repeat offender- I wore my green one (seen here) over and over again. I like the swooshiness of them !

This will be the last post from LA. We fly back to London later on today. My shoes seeme to have multiplied and I can barely shut my suitcase. When will I learn!?

I have nothing but good things to say about Storets.com. Seriously, everything I get from them I love. This skirt makes all my leather skirt dreams come true!

I went to the hairdressers today and was supposed to cut some bangs (a fringe for my fellow English people) but I chickened out at the last minute and just had some layers added. I've decided not to let my fear get the better of me and I'm going back tomorrow and getting myself some bangs.... I think. Eeeek!
