Mouseketeer

I never really had a chance (or an appropriate event) to take part in the 'ear trend' when it first took off so when the lovely Lara Bohinc had a gold themed birthday party earlier this year, I jumped at the chance to become 'goldie mouse'.... Yes I know that's not a real character but so what!
p.s A lot of you often ask me what my hair looks like without the extensions. There are no extensions in this picture. x

On the bench

Shorts & Belt: Vintage. Lace Top: TopShop. Blazer: River Island.
Clogs: Jeffery Campbell. Clutch: Lara Bohinc

I love the dimensions of a blazer with really short shorts, it kinda balances the whole look. I also love the shape of this lace top. It's totally see through but still manages to be prim due to the high neck line and the structured shoulder. I wear it with a corset bra type thing and nipple plasters!

This week I went to the Volvo subject 60 party in London. So much fun! I met up with Sabrina from afterdrk and Andy from stylescrapbook .  Such lovely ladies! It's always so nice to meet other bloggers. The night was spent drinking whiskey sours, dancing our asses off and singing (badly) in the Volvo karaoke car.
We completely monopolized the car and sang our little hearts out to 'I Will Survive' and 'Killing In The Name Of'. You can see some more pictures of the party on stylescrapbook ... I never remember to take my camera out!

Thanks so much to all of you who take the time to follow and comment on here. You are all my
lovelies!

Right on Time

Blouse & Trousers: American Apparel. Leather Jacket & Boots: TopShop. Ring: Lara Bohinc.

My first ever 'timer' shoot! These were the only half decent ones in the entire shoot but practice makes perfect!

I'm missing the boy so much... and not just because I have to take my own pictures! I've been filling my time with movies, script reading, yoga and trashy novels. Trashy novels are my guilty pleasure. Right now I'm reading "Hollywood Kids" by Jackie Collins. Pure trash and I love it!!!!

P.S No weave! I'm putting myself through withdrawal before I become too addicted.

Clog debut....

Shirt: TopShop. Shorts: TopShop. Men's Belt: Vintage. Clogs: Jeffrey Campbell.
Lunar Gold Ring: Lara Bohinc.

The clogs are surprisingly comfortable! I wore them all of yesterday evening- to dinner and to bungalow 8 and my feet were fine. This is good news because I plan to wear them alllllllllllll summer long.

It's so good to be back in London! I do feel as though I am in limbo though. I can't really commit to fully being here until I know the fate of The Pink House. Obviously if it gets picked up then I'll be back in LA in no time but if it doesn't then I'd like to set up home here in London.... it will be so nice to  finally take all my stuff out of storage!

Speaking of storage.... I left loads of clothes back here in London and it's been really nice to rediscover them. It's like buying them new all over again! I do need to do a massive clear out though. I think I'm going to set up a Ring My Bell shop. I have many fabulous things that I'm not wearing and they need to be sold to a good home. I'll keep you all posted :)
