Noir

Leggings & Scarf: TopShop. Jumper: Mens's Reiss.
Boots: Christopher Kane for TopShop. Clutch Bag: Alexander Wang.

Another stolen jumper from the boy! He actually hasn't shrunk this one (yet) but I'm wearing it anyway :)

We spent this weekend on the sofa catching up with Britain's Next Top Model and attending the wrap party for season 4 of  'Secret Diary'. Bambi isn't even in this season but she had to accompany Ben to the wrap party regardless. Much fun was had by all. No pictures though.... Somethings just do not need to be documented and me being drunk is one of them!

The Ring My Bell shop has finally been updated! I just posted new items yesterday and something has already been sold. Be quick! Click here to see the shop.

Mon Chat....

Jeans: TopShop. Sweater: Uniqlo. Boots: ASOS.
 Beret: Vintage Mary Quant.

This sweater actually belongs to the boy but he has trouble doing the washing when I'm not around and shrunk it. It's now the perfect slim fit sweater for me. His loss, my gain!

I saw these boots on ASOS and went straight to checkout. I think it's my fastest online purchase ever. Leopard print. Check! Pony effect. Check! Platform. Check!

I'm kind of obsessed with this lip stick. I actually don't even remember buying it... I think it came free in a gift bag. Anyway, it's "Super Stay Colour" by Maybelline and it really works! It stayed on all day and didn't dry my lips at all. I highly recommend it! What are your favorite lip sticks or glosses?

Just a second

Jeans & Loafers: TopShop. Shirt: LF

Thank goodness for my iPhone! I wouldn't have any blog posts right now if it wasn't for my phone and its hipstamatic app. Best. App. Ever. Well worth £1.59!

I finished a little early today so I snapped these pictures of my "work" outfit while I was waiting for my taxi. This tartan (or plaid if you're american!) shirt is one of my favorite 'go to' items. It so simple to throw on and I of course love the cut out shoulder holes. I had to stop myself cutting peek a boo shoulder holes into all of the boy's shirts and wearing them the same way :)

Victim

Kevin is wearing; Carrot jeans: TopMan. Shirt: American Apparel.
T.Shirt: Own design. Sneakers: Puma. Bracelet: Gucci

I am wearing; Dress: Vintage. Belt: Gucci (vintage). Loafers: TopShop.

Kevin and the boy came to visit me on the set of 'Victim'. The dress I'm wearing is part of my costume.

Kevin is one of my oldest and closet friends. I love these pictures of us because our body language is so warm, you can tell that we spend practically all our time laughing when we are together. There is an ease between us that has grown over a decade of friendship. As well as making me howl with laughter he also has impeccable style ;)

I can finally tell you more about my new TV show.... it's a series that I'm shooting in Manchester called 'Bedlam'. I won't ruin it for you but I will say that the scripts are very spooky and I got quite scared reading them!

Video Killed The Radio Star

Denim cut offs: Vintage Levis. Body suit: American Apparel.
Pink Chuck Taylors: Converse. Belt: Vintage. Matt black wayfarers: Rayban - borrowed from the boy.

A couple of days ago the boy came running into the house... "The light outside is perfect and there's an old TV in the street!!!" To him this meant one thing: Photo shoot.

People were driving by giving us the "you are crazy" look but we took the shots regardless. One of the hazards of having a fashion blog is people looking at you strangely while you stand and take pictures in the street. Oh well :) I think the first shot is awesome. It's very 'attack of the 100 foot woman'....

I got some exciting news today.... I'm gonna be shooting a new TV series! I was planning to go back to LA at the end of the month but I don't think I will now because I'll be busy filming here until November. That's a loooooooong shoot. I'll give you all the juicy details when it's all locked in and finalized.

Meanwhile I'm shooting 'Victim' the movie and loving it. The boy came down to set and took a few shots so I'll share them with you later this week.

p.s Do any of you have any good blog recommendations? I read loads of them already but I'm always on the look out for good up and coming ones.

His and Hers aka Jungle Fever

Cocktail Dress: Garbelle for Trainerspotter. Men's Shirt: Trainerspotter. Sunglasses:Rayban

This is another shoot from back in the day. Trainerspotter is a really cool british label that I have a lot of love for. I was nuts about this shirt from the moment I saw it. Those lovely (and very smart) boys saw how Cyrena was making hot dresses and gave her some of the same material.... The dress above is what she came up with. Genius. And it fitted me like a dream. She also made another dress with a sick hood attached but I'll save those pictures for another day.

I love how the shots for the dress are sassy and feminine and then the shots with the shirt have a rockerbilly vibe. The boy killed it with the lighting. It looks like it's the hottest day in the jungle ever when in fact it was bloody freezing in my back garden and you couldn't even see the sky through the clouds.

Um, how small is Oscar here!? Adorable!!!!

It was his first photo shoot and he nailed it! God I miss my baby!

I'm in the middle of pilot season at the moment. I spend all day in my car going form audition to audition and then I come home and learn lines for the following day. It's hard work but there is something really satisfying about working towards something and chasing the dream. You gotta have a dream, right?

(Just saw that I finally made it to 100 followers. Thanks so much guys! It made so happy to see that! Mwah!)

Raspberry Beret

Raspberry beret: Mary Quant (vintage). Body suit: American Apparel. Chambray Pants: American Apparel. Mens Belt: Vintage. Shoes: Christian Louboutin.

My daddy found this beret. Its Mary Quant and it's in almost perfect condition. It's one of the few items that always travels with me. The pants remind me of wrestling pants! They're very comfy and I adore anything with deep pockets.

The sun is finally coming out in LA. It's still bloody cold though.... although I'm sure it's better then what I'd have to deal with if I was at home in London.
