We are really excited to announce that we have teamed up with DVF and the Stylelist Network to launch Diane Von Furstenberg's 1974 vintage prints collection. Diane chose 20 archived prints and redid the silhouettes to fit today's fashionista. We also heard an amazing rumour that she is opening a Diane Von Furstenberg vintage inspired store in Paris! The Couples: Dolce & Gabbana
This is today's Dolce&Gabbana, where Stefano and Domenico decided to make a girl sexy shiny look followed by a boylike trendy suited one. I may be slightly more a "dresses girl" than
a boy-ish style, but when I compared it on the runway, everything looked enough perfect to want it ABSOLUTELY all.
I have a few dozen hundreds of photos to choose for you, and some amazing news like thi: Today, I got to style a part of the Dolce& Gabbana iconic store here in Milan (and I'm still excited!).. but that is definitely the story for tomorrow. Till then, enjoy!

Blues
Acne leather jacket (my-wardrobe), Frankie Morello shoes, Helmut Lang t shirt, American Apparel Leggings
I started collecting American Apparel leggings when I first discovered them (about three years ago). Then, I started modelling for them and found myself a true follower and part of the American Apparel family.
I already have almost all of the crazy colors, and though maybe some people find them a bit difficult to wear or style, for me, they're simply a must-have in my wardrobe. These electric blue ones are definitely my favorites!
Go to my article at Glamour here(and spare a comment if you can!)
I'm in the middle of Milan fashion week and there are just too many things to share! great weekend!

The Look: Crow + Black Velvet
Fun Fact: I was really inspired by the Proenza Fall 2011 Collection to wear velvet head to toe... it's kind of the perfect winter fabric! But this look kinda reminds me of a Chloe Fall 2009 look! This top is actually a short scandalous dress so I thought it would be wicked to wear it as a top tucked in to black velvet harem pants, and VOILA...it looks like a jumpsuit :)
P.S. Happppy Birthday MOM!!!!!! YAY!!!

The Look: Tribal Princess + African
Fun Fact: I LOVE African textiles! And have been obsessed with African jewelry and Art for a while now. I went on an African adventure with my school about 15 years ago, and stayed on Kuki Gallmann's ranch who is the amazing author of the book, I dreamed of Africa which was later made into a movie starring Kim Basinger. It was such an amazing and special trip! My sisters also studied African Art history in school and our whole family loves African Art! I really love the Suno collection and what they are doing with their textiles and how they give back to the Kenyan economy. They employ Kenyan artists and make their fashion forward clothing in Kenya...soo cool!
Trench coats
Max Mara coat, Zara shirt, Gap Jeans, YSL shoes
A few months ago, I entered the MaxMara store and without thinking I found the perfect trench. What exactly do you say to yourself when you want something, knowing it may be out of the budget, or that you should use the money for other things? I said: " Yes, it is the perfect coat for you, it will last forever, is so classy and so NY-like but with a Parisian touch in the collar, so go ahead, buy it, Denni!"
Of course I felt thrilled when buying it and the ladies at the store encouraged me saying things like: "It looks so good on you, it's the last one!" and as always, I believed them, I fell for it and I knew (has it happened to you?).
Of course I felt thrilled when buying it and the ladies at the store encouraged me saying things like: "It looks so good on you, it's the last one!" and as always, I believed them, I fell for it and I knew (has it happened to you?).
But then of course (tell me if it isn't true, please), women don't stay feeling guilty too long, and instead, they feel happy and satisfied to see beautiful things hanging in their closet, and thinking of how many right choices they have done. Personally, I think that.
Though, this time, I chose to pay some taxes: (According to my dear friend designing at Chanel) "Luxury is the income tax of vanity. But it is so pleasant."—Karl Lagerfeld
I'm on my way to Milan, so see you there for the best shows and the best pizza, because I love Italy!
Bisous,
Denni
