Mathilda's Inspiration

Since a kid I always felt like Mathilda(Natalie Portman in Leon(1994))

Short hair,grunge style,crop tops,tomboy clothes and a black ribbon around my neck.

Frequently I remember I was once this girl.

And I feel very inspired.

Desde ninha me he sentido un poco Matilda(Natalie Portman en la pelicula

Leon(1994))Pelo corto y con flequillo("estilo frances" segun mi madre),

ropa mas bien masculina,donde los vestidos y los lacitos llamaban la atencion

por su ausencia. Y siempre una goma de plastico atada a mi cuello.

Suelo pensar en esta ninha a menudo.

Y me sigue inspirando.

Idol's inspiration

The 10th of September was launched The Music Collection,

the latest project I've been involved as designer and creative director.

(and my first commercial collection as a fashion designer).

Now available worldwide(to shop online) and in Spanish stores only.

When I was given the brief,I went through a long research process,

I had an extent look at many rockers and bands to fill my inspirations with,

from late 60s,70s and 80s till now.

But there has always been a man who fitted to perfection,my beloved Billy Idol

(yet another successful british man in music history)

He then become my main visual inspiration,and is not difficult to identify him

in my campaign .... where crosses and leather have been key items.

(and is NOW when you should look back the post I did about

crosses with Madonna ,Remember???)

This is one of the dresses from The Music Collection that I've paired with an Amazona Loewe

bag and Burberry Prorsum boots during Vogue's Night Out in Madrid.

As the Creative Director for Linea-U a/w 08-09(and

I also model for them)I'm proud to present you the new

collection avaliable now worldwide(check selling points).

This year we went to Holland and Belgium to shoot our

Once again,England have made history in Fashion.

Teddy boys and girls are back in fashion,and even the big

Vivienne Westwood took their style ,when she opened

her first store in Kings Road. Now you can see the classic

CREEPER SHOESback in the catwalks.Elle magazine choose

this pair from Office as one of their High-street must haves for this

season.And after 3 days looking for them in blue,(as they are

already out of stock in all UK) i found this very last pair in BrentCross

shopping center.(remember me not go again in such fashion-road

trips around London,please!)

Inglaterra,una vez mas ha hecho historia en el mundo de la moda.

El estilo "Teddy boy"(50's) vuelve a estar de moda.Y eso que

ya habia sido adoptado y plagiado por la gran Vivienne cuando abrio

su primera tienda en Kings Road.Los CREEPER SHOES bajan

de la pasarela hasta el "high-street".Estos (de Office)son los elegidos

por la revista Elle como los "must-have" de esta temporada.Ya

agotados en toda UK, y tras 3 dias intensivos de busqueda y captura,

consegui este utlimo par en BrentCross shopping center.
