CALLA- Spring 2012

The CALLA Spring 2012 runway show was off the charts amazing and Calla flew in from Paris to present during Toronto fashion week. It was hosted by "the shOws," and styled by the awesome Leith Clark of Lula Magazine. We went backstage to get a sneak peek of her collection before the show. Calla is super talented and we LOVE her to pieces. We also did a collaboration together on her Spring 2011 collection. ( To see it, click here.) So, we were totally amped to see her new collection which was filled with exaggerated volume, neon tweeds and prints galore. It also screamed music festival chic with tie dye prints and acid wash denim. The accessories included John Lennon-esque neon sunnies, sparkly heels and beehive hairdos. It was total flirty-ness mixed with a sense of rockabilly. The colours included shocking pink, lemon yellow, mint green and hints of cyan and coral...OBSESSED! We have also been insta-graming/twittering photos like crazy (thanks to our bestie, The Glamourai for getting us addicted heheheee! Follow us here :)

Fun Fact: This is one of my fav' summer dresses of all time because it's sooo light and dreamy and made by our amazing friend, Calla. And I am just nuts over my new psychedelic faux fur blue smurf Prada bag! I cannot wait to see the new Smurf movie coming out in August!

Fun Fact: I think the geometric yellow stone/rock shape kaleidoscope print in this dress is brilliant. It's sooo cozy too because it's a sweat shirt dress! I am totally feeling the bright yellow's and oranges for spring so this dress is right up my alley! We have had the ultimate week blogging in Calla's gorgeous clothing!!! Her clothes made us feel fabulous all week and we felt like we were radiating happiness wearing them! She is one of the most talented designers and sweetest friends we know! WE LOVE HER! Fun Fact: I love the length of this dress! Calla said she was inspired by Calla lilies when she designed this print! Talkin' about lilies...Calla's dog is named Lily Bear! and she is a chow-chow and sooo adorable! Click here to see pics of her pup! I love the belt and how it has built in gathering in it, Calla said it gives it a Vionnet feeling! We couldn't agree more! LOVE IT!
