Couleur Noir

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Times of something with less skinshowing and probably  in
a more classy theme. Le chic noir.
"Now let's make something with a real color" (says Audrey Tatou as Coco Chanel
 in the movie).
I've always had an admiration by pictures in black and white. I can think that the lack of shiny colors make the picture even more intense (at least for me).

Many thanks to Pride magazine for featuring me in their Style File page! I was beyond excited when they asked me and really enjoyed chatting with Shevelle, the fashion and beauty editor :)

H&M Spring 2011 Preview

We had the awesome opportunity to go the H&M showroom in Toronto to preview their Spring 2011 collection! We love the denim overalls, the muslin bustiers, striped coral pants, lacy floral shorts and the navy bird print jumpsuit! HOT!!! There was a bohemian 60's and 70's feeling going on in the collection mixed with nautical jackets and frilly heart vests. We love how they styled a black and white striped skirt with a simple classic camel sweater with chiffon pockets. We need that whole look! H&M's silhouettes are either long and loose or short and sharp! We are obsessed with all of their lingerie too! It's all kinda Parisian pin up with 60's inspired black sheer fabrics. It's so great knowing what's going to be arriving in the stores soon! Here are our top 6 looks from their Spring line! Can't wait to get our hands on those leather lace up football shorts...OBSESSED!

Red Right Hand

SanFran's gotta be THE place. I'm so happy to be here. Been hanging out with Lulu during the weekend and she is truly brilliant as Rachel had already told me..it's good to meet other bloggers after so many years! Been busy buying as much as I've managed to...the shops down Haight-Ashbury are pretty cool, so it is the RVCA shop where I bought a few amazing pieces.Walked the Golden Gate..wondered if there will be any jumpers that day, and got lost down in Golden Gate park, falling asleep in the lake while a guy was playing his guitar. The best? This is a dog-lover city...yes!!!
PS. my lashes are 100% REAL..they happen to be extremely long ..i've been always told this. But i'll be posting my beauty secrets soon. Follow my u.s.a adventures on Twitter

Proenza Schouler PS1 Large Satchel

Mulberry Oversized Alexa

My love for the vintage Chanel I posted about here is still going strong but I'm finding it hard to commit to spending such a large amount of money for something I haven't actually laid eyes on.

However I do still need a new bag (need might be a slight exaggeration) and have yet to add a satchel to my collection. Vying for a place in the Ring My Bell wardrobe are these two beauties.... Equally satchel-ly but different in their own ways. There is something serious and no nonsense about the Proenza and it carries with it heavy weight fashion credentials but we all know how much of a sucker I am for anything leopard and patent! I know all about the "simple will last you longer" argument but.... life is too short to shop that way!

Does everyone else buy themselves a birthday present or is that just me? One week until my birthday!!!
