Pants- Stretch pants by H&M from H&M store in L.A
Hat- Vintage Abercrombie and Fitch hat from Brimfield Show (one of my new purchases) in MA
Necklace- Vintage bolo from Godmum
Bag- Leopard Betsey Johnson bag from Betsey Johnson store in Toronto

The Look: Riding + Nautical

Fun Fact: Caillianne and I went to the Huntington Gardens in L.A on the weekend and spent the day in the Japanese and Rose gardens! The Japanese gardens had a tea room, beautiful wooden bridges and had the biggest coy swimming around in the pond...so big they looked like they could eat you if you fell in. Being in the rose gardens felt like being in Alice in Wonderland! The gardens cover over 600 acres with more than 14,000 plants! We didn't even make it to the Cactus gardens or the lily ponds, so we have to go back!!!

Spiked Fortune

Studded hair band: Jennifer Behr

If you follow me on twitter then you've probably already heard all about my obsession with this studded hair band. I came across it in Liberties last week and immediately fell deeply in love with it. It makes me look like a punk rock fortune teller- what's not to love!? The price is what's not to love. £410 is waaaaay over my hair band/turban budget- even for one as beautifully made as this. I plan to do my own DIY version and hopefully that will satisfy my cravings.

I forgot to mention this in the '4.3.2.1' post but I bumped into Wiley at the after party. He's working on some stuff at the boy's brother's record label- Back Yard. 'Electric Boogaloo' is his latest track.... You can have a listen and see the video here.

p.s anyone know where in London I can get some studs for my DIY turban? I'd prefer not to buy them online so I can see what I'm getting :)

Bodysuit, American Apparel high waist shorts.
Just fine light sand and a fringe leotard, as my ballet friend would say.
I wouldn't had worn this outfit better in other place that with sun besides the sea, and this time no shoes.
I will say too that I'm inspired by Kate Moss throughout the amazing times she has had (and will).

You may remember the sun salutation from your yoga classes, but in fact that is just me in a light cotton dress
enjoying this weekend sur La Plage here, I had imagined this scene a few weeks ago, and why not to really do it?
The sun is supposed to be even better later so stay tunned to maybe wear some shorter and smaller things.
All I want is less wind and more sun to lay down on the sand.

Ribbed

Photographs by Kevin Morosky

My friend asked if he could use us as his subjects for his article in Ribbed Magazine. He shot us on a vintage hasselblad camera. Him and the boy had lots of fun geeking out and playing with it. We took these in the living room. We don't have a television here, instead there's a projector which Kevin LOVES! He asked us to choose a film that meant something to both of us and shot us in front of it using only the light from the projector. We choose 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'. It's the boy's favorite film and it's the film that the director asked me watch on my first ever job back when I was 16.

You can read the full article here.

The riding pants

I lately have found these American Apparel riding pants amazing for anything to do.
The fact that they're totally comfortable and fresh and that look good
with basically anything is what keeps me wearing them so much.
It's been busy here but, be prepared cause I have some ideas to wear soon!
I may have talked about La Durée a few(many) times but this tea has the perfect "parfum"
and I feel it really parisien, of course, the tea name is Marie Antoinette you fool! (I say myself)
Luckily today was the day of waking up late, going for a walk and coming back to watch some amazing
treasures hidden there on Youtube, something's about Yves Saint Laurent
vintage and some quick reviews about this year's great collections.
passe une bonne journée

Keep Clear

Dress: American Apparel. Clogs: Jeffery Campbell. Socks: Virgin airlines :)

I love the pockets in this dress, they give it a slouchy relaxed feel. The socks are those free ones that you get on Virgin flights. I love them! I collect them every time I fly with Virgin.

It's been a while since I've had the boy take my picture and it's great to have his photography skills back. His pictures make my timer shots look like a joke!

Lots of you ask about my hair... You all want the loose curly waves and I promise you they are super easy to get! I've thought about doing a hair video for you all but I realized despite being an actress the thought of talking to camera as myself freaks me out way too much! I've found a video that shows exactly what I do: LOOSE CURLY WAVES.  The only difference is that I use a slightly smaller straightening iron.

*Take a one inch section of hair and comb it through until smooth.
*Clamp your straightening iron at the root of the section of hair and with your free hand hold on to the ends of the hair.
*Rotate the iron 180 degrees and glide it down the length of the hair until you reach the ends.
*The slower you move the iron the tighter the curl will be.
*Try to alternate the direction that you rotate the iron with each section so that you get a more irregular look.
*When you've curled all of your hair run your fingers through to loosen and break up the curls.

I like my hair to look a little messy and tousled so I usually prefer it the next day after I've slept on it!

p.s I use clip in hair extensions. They only work because my own hair is long enough to blend in. My own hair finishes at breast level so the extensions don't look so obvious. If your hair is shorter then neck length then really long extensions like mine wont work! xxx
